A little bit about me…

Gianna Rapp is an actor, singer, and acting coach with a background in theater, television, and musical theater. Most recently Rapp booked a role on 19x Emmy Award-Winning show Succession, directed by Becky Martin and played opposite of Kieran Culkin and Jeremy Strong. On stage Rapp has performed at The Kennedy Center, DC Capital Fringe Festival, and regionally in the DC area. She holds a BA in Musical Theater from American University and attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for Vocal Performance. Training includes: CAP21, The British American Drama Academy, The Freeman Studio, The Barrow Group and has worked with teachers such as Jayd McCarty, Welker White, Damien Young, Susan Finch, and Maria Dizzia. Voice and Body Training includes: Alexander Technique, Laban, Linklater, Edith Skinner, and Fitzmaurice.

As a coach, Rapp works closely with actors on self tape auditions for television, film, and theater. Gianna specializes in helping actors overcome performance anxiety and unlock their full potential in a nurturing and supportive environment. Under her guidance, students have secured 6 callbacks, 1 pinned, and 4 booked roles on acclaimed TV shows and indie films, including Law & Order, FBI: Most Wanted, and Bull.

Rapp's experience in competitive educational settings, starting from LaGuardia, has shaped her teaching style and values. She prioritizes unveiling each student's uniqueness to enhance their performances, empowering them to infuse their own essence into roles while guiding them in conveying the writer's story. As an actor herself, she knows how to speak to actors and empathize with their experience. AEA Member.
